How it works, tips and questions
Open Rotate PDF, choose 90° right, 180° or 90° left, optionally list the pages to turn, and download. The rotation happens in your browser.
Step by step
- Upload the PDF with the sideways pages.
- Rotate everything, or pick the specific pages that need turning.
- Download the corrected document.
Good to know
Rotation is saved into the file
Turning a page in your PDF reader usually only changes how it looks on your screen, and the file opens sideways again for the next person. Rotating here writes the new orientation into the document itself, so it is correct everywhere it is opened, printed or uploaded.
Mixed orientations in one document
Scanners frequently produce a document where most pages are upright and a few are on their side. Rotating selected pages rather than the whole file is what fixes that, and it is worth checking the page numbers carefully before you apply it.
Questions
Can I rotate only some of the pages?
Yes. Rotate all pages at once, or name the specific pages that need it.
Which directions can I rotate?
90, 180 or 270 degrees.
Does rotating change the quality or size?
No. Only the orientation recorded for each page changes.
My PDF still opens sideways - why?
Some readers remember their own view setting per document. Close it fully and reopen the downloaded file to see the real orientation.
