How it works, tips and questions
Open Split PDF, type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 5, and download the new file. Or choose “Every page as a file” to get a ZIP with one PDF per page. It runs in your browser.
Step by step
- Upload the PDF you want to break up.
- Choose a page range to extract, or split every page into its own file.
- Download the extracted PDF, or a ZIP if you split the whole document.
Good to know
Extracting a range versus splitting everything
Extracting gives you one new PDF containing only the pages you asked for, which is what you usually want when a form needs page four of a twelve-page statement. Splitting every page produces one file per page, delivered as a ZIP, which is useful when each page has to be uploaded to a different field.
The original is never changed
Splitting writes new files and leaves your upload alone. Nothing is re-compressed either, so the extracted pages are exactly as sharp as they were in the source document.
Questions
How do I take just one page out of a PDF?

What do I get if I split every page?
